Last summer, my family went to Beijing Zoo. That is the largest and most complete zoo in China!
When I walked into the zoo, my mother asked me what I wanted to see most. I said "giant panda" without thinking, because it is our national treasure. Then we came to the Panda Pavilion, where there are many foreigners, because only we in China have pandas! I can tell at a glance. No wonder its name is panda. It turns out that it is a bit like a bear and a bit like a cat! It has a chubby body, small eyes and ears. There are two big dark circles outside two eyes, like wearing a pair of big glasses. It's lazy, lying there and moving around. What a lazy cat!
Out of the panda house, our family came to the monkey park. There are several rockeries in the monkey garden, which belong to the monkey world. Some of them play in the mountains, some tickle in the sun, and some run to the iron fence and stretch out their paws to ask people for delicious food. I asked my mother for a banana and handed it to them. A little monkey grabbed it and ate it with his mouth open. I smiled happily.
Then we saw elephants, orangutans, flamingos, hippos, beautiful swans ... many animals I have never seen before. It opened my eyes!
This is an unforgettable and happy trip!
