(1) 50,000 tons/year vinyl acetate (supporting 200,000 tons/year calcium carbide plant);
(2) 30,000 tons/year polyvinyl acetate plant;
(3) 654.38 million tons/year ethylene plant;
(4) 654.38 million tons/year ethylene-vinyl acetate polymer plant;
(5) 2 million tons/year cement plant.
The project conforms to the national industrial policy and regional development planning, and has strong competitiveness. It was listed as one of the key construction projects newly started in Yunnan Province in 2008 "100". The project was filed with the Yunnan Economic Commission on March 27th, 2008 (the filing project code is 0853000026 100 18), and the investor was changed to Wei Yun Baoshan Organic Chemical Co., Ltd. on October 22nd, 2008. Wei Yun Baoshan Organic Chemical Co., Ltd., which is wholly owned by Yunnan Wei Yun Co., Ltd., was incorporated in Shidian County on August 29th, 2008. With the strong support of Baoshan Municipal Committee, Municipal People's Government, Shidian County Party Committee and County People's Government, and with the strong support and concern of leaders at all levels of Coal Chemical Industry Group, Wei Yun Group and Wei Yun Co., Ltd., all the work was gradually promoted as planned, and the project construction officially started on June 6th, 2008. The pre-built 654.38 million tons/year calcium carbide plant and its supporting public and auxiliary facilities were mechanically completed in September 2009.
Wei Yun Baoshan Organic Chemical Co., Ltd. will adopt advanced technologies, equipment and processes at home and abroad, take effective environmental protection measures and national standards as the premise, and take efficient management as the means to build 654.38 million tons/year EVA and related supporting projects in line with national industrial policies with high starting point and high standards. By identifying the connection points of the project, the project construction can realize the effective utilization of upstream and downstream products, implement environmental protection, energy conservation and emission reduction measures, and finally realize the recycling of resources, maximize the transformation of resource advantages into economic advantages, promote enterprise development, strengthen strength, improve economic benefits, promote the coordinated and healthy development of local social economy, and finally form a green and high value-added acetylene chemical industry chain in Yunnan Province, achieving the goals of energy conservation, comprehensive utilization of resources and clean production.
