Commencement time of widening project in Banan section of Chongqing Second Ring Road

The widening project of Banan section of the original road of Chongqing Second Ring Expressway started on August 3, 20221. According to relevant public information, the widening Banan section of Chongqing Second Ring Expressway is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2023. After the completion, it will further improve the conversion efficiency of expressway network in Nanchuan District, effectively relieve the traffic pressure in Nanchuan section of Baomao Expressway, improve the traffic congestion in Nanchuan City, and drive Nanchuan City to expand westward.
