Robosense second-generation intelligent solid-state lidar M 1 adopts MEMS technology, and the project research and development began at the end of 20 16. The next year, it launched a staged demonstration prototype, which was publicly demonstrated at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in 20 18, and then in 20 19.
After more than five years of in-depth research and development and dozens of iterations of the internal version, M 1 took the lead in completely locking the production version in June of 20021year, and successfully mass-produced the intelligent solid-state laser radar for vehicle gauge in the second quarter of the same year, becoming the first manufacturer in the world to mass-produce the intelligent solid-state laser radar for vehicle gauge. At present, RoboSense has completed the mass production delivery of more than ten batches of automotive products to designated projects such as North American car companies.
Exclusive intelligent "staring" function
RoboSense second-generation intelligent solid-state lidar M 1 has a unique intelligent "gaze" function, which can dynamically improve the resolution or scanning frame rate of lidar according to different driving scenes, realize intelligent "zoom" and greatly improve the perception ability of intelligent driving.
For example, in the driving scene of expressway, M 1 can improve the recognition distance of vehicles from 150 meters to 200 meters by improving the resolution of the middle area, so as to grasp the road conditions ahead earlier; When switching to the driving scene of city streets, M 1 can increase the scanning frame rate from 10Hz to 20Hz, thus increasing the scanning frequency of pedestrians, electric cars, traffic jams and other obstacles, and thus grasping the dynamics around the car faster.
