Engineering characteristics
On June 5438+065438+1October 18, 2009, the construction of Leguang Expressway was started, with a total investment of 33.342 billion yuan, which became the expressway with the longest line, the largest investment scale and extremely high technical difficulty in China at that time.
According to the design, the highest elevation of Leguang Expressway is only 398 meters. Compared with the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway in northern Guangdong, the highest altitude is 806 meters, and the line crosses the alpine mountain area, which is easy to freeze, so the probability of encountering low-temperature ice and snow weather in this section is greatly reduced. Even if the road is frozen, passing vehicles can completely crush thin ice by their own weight to ensure driving safety.
Leguang Expressway adopts the design scheme of bridge and tunnel group, which makes the road surface as flat as possible and effectively protects the ecology and farmland along the line: the total length of Leguang Expressway is 302km, of which106km is bridge and tunnel, and the bridge and tunnel ratio of Leguang Expressway is as high as 35%, and 226 bridges have been erected along the line, with a total length of 70km; 28 tunnels were built. Among them, Dayaoshan Tunnel Group passing through Dayaoshan Nature Reserve has a total mileage of 24.08 kilometers, all of which are separated tunnels, which is the longest tunnel group in Guangdong Province.
The design speed of Leguang Expressway is 1.20 km/h, and the main line of the project is two-way eight-lane or two-way six-lane. Compared with the four-lane Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway with a design speed of only 80 km/h, the capacity is greatly improved.
