Shengbao was founded in 1936 and originated from Dongzhengtang Wireless Electric Appliance Company before World War II. /kloc-in the 1950s, sonic represented Sony, Sharp and Toshiba in Japan. 1958 Established Taiwan Province Communication Company to produce telephone and other communication products. 1962 Dongxing electric appliance was established and began to produce black and white TV sets. 1964, Dongxing enterprise merged with Zhengdong Electric Appliance Factory and changed its name to Shengbao Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. to produce black and white TV sets, refrigerators and other products. 1969, Shengbao cooperated with Sharp Corporation of Japan to produce color TV sets.
At present, Sharp's official branches in Taiwan Province are Sharp Corporation (Taiwan Province), Sharp and Shengbao Yu Xinbao Group, and Shengbao is Chen Shengsong.
