Baoji Bridge is different from other bridges between the two rivers and four lakes. It is a bridge that must be built after the waterway between Tiefotang and Xiqing Lake is opened during the period of connecting the two rivers and four lakes.
Architectural impression
Baoji Bridge has a strange shape, which looks like an ancient city wall on the water. There are two beacon towers at both ends of the bridge, and a path passes under the city gate. The bridge looks as if it were made of stone.
Baoji Bridge is also known as the new bridge of the ancient city wall.
Building structure
The lower part of the bridge is decorated with a slightly polished gray mushroom stone, and the lines of the bridge are clear and unchanged. The relatively simple and regular lighting lamps are adopted, which is in harmony with the quaint characteristics of Baoji Bridge. The bridge deck is illuminated by "four fire lamps" (the appearance color is dark), and the battlements and parapets are outlined by floodlights (the light color is dark).
