Zotye Automobile was established in 2003 and its headquarters is located in Yongkang, Zhejiang. Is a private enterprise with the core business of complete vehicles and key parts of automobiles. It owns two independent brands, Zotye Automobile and Jiangnan Automobile. At present, Zotye has set up vehicle production bases in Zhejiang, Hunan, Jiangsu and Shandong.
In 2004, the production line of Toyota Teri in Taiwan Province Province was sold for financial reasons. Before Zotye, Geely and other car companies had paid attention to this production line, but because of the long decision-making process, they did not make a decision immediately. Opportunities are fleeting. Senior leaders of Zotye personally led the negotiating team to fly to Taiwan Province Province to promote the overall acquisition plan. After several rounds of tug-of-war, they bought this Toyota Terry production line in one fell swoop, together with mold equipment, technical workers and management personnel, and brought them back to Yongkang.
On June 8, 2005, Zotye 2008 went offline. In 2006, Zotye made its debut at the 2008 Beijing Auto Show and was selected as the annual model of CCTV. In 2007, Zotye Automobile reorganized Jiangnan Automobile and obtained the "birth permit". In 2008, Zotye 5008 went public.
In 2008, Zotye copied the super sharp model and bought the production line of Monti Braun model. In the same year, Monti Braun went public; 20 10, listed in Lang Yue; 20 1 1 year 1 month lang yuechun electric taxi became the first batch of electric taxis in Hang Cheng.
