Some enterprises and institutions under the jurisdiction of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission. For example, the National Ethnic Affairs Research Center of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, the research room of ancient books collation of ethnic minorities in China, the China National Museum, the China National Language Translation Center, the National Unity Magazine, the National Publishing House, the National Pictorial, the Central National Song and Dance Troupe, the National Culture Palace, and the China National Economic Development Service Corporation. The State Ethnic Affairs Commission is responsible for guiding local ethnic work, and maintains close working contact with the Ethnic Affairs Commission of the National People's Congress, the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Commission of the China People's Political Consultative Conference and the State Bureau of Religious Affairs. Supervision and inspection department: responsible for the supervision and inspection of the implementation of ethnic laws and regulations and ethnic policies; To undertake the specific work of coordinating and guiding the implementation of the law on regional ethnic autonomy; To study the early warning and emergency response mechanism of major emergencies in ethnic relations and undertake relevant coordination and handling; To study and put forward suggestions for coordinating ethnic relations; Participate in coordinating social stability in ethnic areas; Promote the service system of ethnic affairs and the informatization construction of ethnic affairs management; To undertake other tasks assigned by the leaders of the Committee.
Ministry of Economic Development: to study and put forward special policy suggestions on economic development of ethnic minorities and ethnic areas, and coordinate or cooperate with relevant departments to handle specific matters; Responsible for the planning and management of ethnic minority undertakings and the formulation of special plans, and undertake the specific work of supervising and inspecting the implementation of the plans; Participate in the formulation of development plans in economic and social related fields in ethnic areas; To undertake the related work of national statistical analysis, comprehensive evaluation and monitoring system; Participate in coordinating counterpart support, economic and technological cooperation, ethnic trade and the production of commodities with ethnic characteristics in ethnic areas; Participate in the management of minority development funds and poverty alleviation work; To undertake other tasks assigned by the leaders of the Committee.
Cultural propaganda department: study and put forward special policy suggestions on the development of culture, health, sports, radio, film and television, press and publication in ethnic minorities and ethnic areas, and coordinate with relevant departments to carry out related work; Organize and guide the publicity and education work, and undertake the publicity and education of ethnic policies, achievements in ethnic work, basic knowledge of ethnic groups and related external publicity work; Undertake the organization of news release and be responsible for the news coverage of important meetings and activities; To undertake national cultural exchanges and cooperation, and undertake specific affairs of major national cultural and sports activities; Guide the collection, collation and publication of ethnic ancient books, and assist relevant departments in the protection of ethnic cultural relics; To guide the business work of cultural propaganda units directly under it; To undertake other tasks assigned by the leaders of the Committee.

International Exchange Department (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office): to study and formulate plans for international exchange and cooperation in ethnic affairs; To undertake exchanges and cooperation with foreign countries, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in the field of ethnic work; Understand the relevant situation of overseas ethnic minority compatriots, and undertake and coordinate the handling of foreign affairs of ethnic minorities; Participate in foreign propaganda work involving ethnic affairs; To manage the foreign affairs and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan affairs of the Ethnic Affairs Commission system; To undertake other tasks assigned by the leaders of the Committee.
Finance Department: responsible for managing the departmental budget of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, the financial revenue and expenditure of the organs at the same level and the funds for ethnic work; To undertake the economic responsibility audit of leading cadres; To undertake the management of state-owned assets, capital construction, government procurement and housing system reform of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission; To guide the financial management, internal audit, state-owned assets, capital construction, government procurement and housing system reform of directly affiliated units; To undertake other tasks assigned by the leaders of the Committee.
Personnel department: participate in the formulation and implementation of the planning for the construction of minority talent teams; To undertake the specific work of contacting ethnic minority cadres and cooperate with relevant departments to undertake the training, education, selection and recommendation of ethnic minority cadres; Responsible for personnel management and organization establishment of organs and directly affiliated units; To undertake the management of directly affiliated institutions; To guide the education and training of cadres; To undertake other tasks assigned by the leaders of the Committee.
