Present name of Yanchang Oilfield: Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum (Group) Co., Ltd. (Yanchang Petroleum Administration Bureau) (referred to as Yanchang Petroleum) is a provincial state-owned large enterprise and one of the four domestic enterprises with oil and gas exploration and development qualifications.
The group company consists of professional sectors such as oil field, oil refining, oil and gas exploration, oil pipeline transportation, sales and finance, and directly affiliated subsidiaries such as Shaanxi Xinghua Group and Shaanxi Huajian Company, and has more than 60 production and business units.
During the Anti-Japanese War, the extension of petroleum production produced gasoline, kerosene, paraffin, ink, gun oil, vaseline and other products, which not only ensured the oil demand of the central and border governments, but also brought a lot of cloth, steel, machinery and equipment and short-term materials, and was known as the "hero oil mine".
