Any change of a registered trademark, or any change of complete standard registration, is considered as another trademark and needs to be registered separately. Otherwise, such changes will not be protected by law.
In Iran, medicines for human use, sanitary products, veterinary drugs, cosmetics, packaged foods, beverages and alcoholic commodities must use registered trademarks, and at the same time, the name and address of the manufacturer, the place of production, the trademark registration number and other contents must be indicated on the product packaging. If it is a drug for human use, the time and license number of the drug sales license must also be listed.
Foreigners can freely register trademarks in Latin or Persian in Iran, or use both languages to form trademarks.
