On June 5438+February 2, 2009, Comac China and CFM formally signed a letter of intent for strategic cooperation on the power plant of C9 19 large passenger aircraft, and selected the LEAP-X 1C engine developed by CFM as the starting power plant of C9 19 large passenger aircraft.
The engine of C9 19 is LEAP-X 1C engine, and LEAP-X 1C engine is a large passenger aircraft engine developed by CFM International, a large passenger aircraft engine manufacturer jointly invested by American General Electric and French international companies such as Snecma. 18 carbon fiber composite fan blades developed by Safran Company and ceramic-based composite turbine components developed by General Electric Company of the United States are adopted.
Design Features of c9 19
In terms of materials used, C9 19 will use a large number of advanced composite materials and advanced aluminum-lithium alloys, in which the amount of composite materials will reach 20%, and then the weight of the aircraft will be reduced through detailed design of the internal structure of the aircraft. In addition, C9 19 will adopt domestic aluminum alloy, titanium alloy and steel, accounting for 20-30% of the structural weight of the whole machine, fully embodying C 96538.
The maximum range is more than 5,500 kilometers, and its performance is equivalent to that of the new generation of mainstream single-aisle passenger aircraft in the world. It successfully made its first flight on May 5, 20 17. At the same time, due to the extensive use of composite materials, the cabin noise of C9 19 is expected to drop below 60 decibels compared with that of similar aircraft abroad.
