My understanding of Johnson JD27

There are many discussions about Johnson on the Internet, but few comments about JD27 model. I want to talk objectively from a user's point of view for your reference.

Let's first introduce AXL, an American company that produces Johnson & Johnson. Johnson & Johnson is all made in China. In fact, the founder of AXL Company is a China musician, who studied in the United States in 1980s and started a business in the United States in 1990s. Because he first studied in the southern United States, he was exposed to a lot of country music, especially bluegrass music, which had a great influence on his future entrepreneurship and development strategy. Explain in detail later. In addition to Johnson guitar, AXL also bought quite a few old American musical instruments, such as record king. I have a recording king banjo, hehe.

JD27 is the best of all Johnson & Johnson series, but due to the well-known panel arching problem, it became a sensational product when it went on the market, but in the end it was a fiasco. Most products sold in China are in stock or returned in the past. But if carefully selected and slightly adjusted, I think it is the entry-level single piano with the highest cost performance in China. -Front panel: first-class spruce, back panel: East Indian rosewood, side panel: first-class rosewood, fingerboard: first-class rosewood, and pre-war X-beam support, which makes its timbre rich and loud.

But what I want to say in particular is that JD27 is actually specially designed for flat guitar players, which is very suitable for bluegrass music and country music, which is one of the reasons why JD27 is named Carolina series. Pingpai needs to play the melody and rhythm quickly with a pick, and at the same time it needs to be loud enough, because it needs to be the same as other acoustic instruments (country violin, banjo, bass, mandolin, etc.). ).

So, if you like country or blue grass, JD27 is a good entry choice. If it is fingering, I don't think it is necessarily appropriate. I am a flat pickaxe who has always used pickaxes, and I especially like the countryside. JD27 didn't let me down, and sometimes the timbre even feels better than Martin D 18. Hehe, Martin fans don't throw bricks. I'm also a die-hard Martin fan.

When designing, JD27 directly imitates Martin's fearless series, no matter the design details or timbre. It should be said that JD27 imitated well, but I didn't expect the panel problems that happened later. But anyway, it is interesting that one is really sold and the other is missing, and it has been discontinued for a long time.

So buying genuine products is definitely worth the money, but genuine products should not be easy to buy. In fact, it is good to buy a piano face list for around 2000, and there is no need to pursue the whole list.
