Among them, checks and promissory notes are only applicable to local settlement, bills of exchange, remittances, telegraphic transfers and collections are applicable to off-site settlement, and commercial and bank acceptance bills are applicable to local and off-site settlement.
Specific operation method:
Checks are divided into transfer checks and cash checks. You need to open an account in the bank, reserve a seal and buy a check. After that, the company will write a check in the account balance, stamp it and go to the bank to pay the bill.
A promissory note should be applied to the bank to open a promissory note, and stamped with the seal to handle it at the bank counter.
For bills of exchange, you need to apply to the bank for an invoice (application documents in the specified format), and then go to the bank to handle it. The payee can sign the bill as an enterprise or an individual, and after receiving the bill, he can go to his own bank to do the payment and settlement process. If an individual needs to bring an ID card, the enterprise needs to sign its own seal at the designated position on the back of the bill.
Acceptance bill. Whether it is an enterprise or a bank, enterprises need to apply to the bank and go to the bank to handle it. After it is retrieved, it can be given to the payee. The payee submits the bill to his own bank on the maturity date of the bill, and the bank submits it to the drawer's bank or signs for payment.
T/T and T/T are the remittance and T/T form purchased by the payer from the bank, filled in and stamped, and then submitted to the bank for processing.
In addition, checks, drafts and acceptances (commercial and bank) can all be transferred by endorsement. That is, the payee signs in the endorser column on the back of the bill as the holder, and then the person who obtains the bill signs in the endorsee column as the endorsee, thus obtaining the right to receive payment recorded in the bill.
Of course, endorsement of bills can also be prohibited. Specifically, if the drawer prohibits endorsement, it shall indicate it on the front of the bill and sign it. Where endorsement is prohibited by the endorser, it shall be indicated on the back of the bill and signed.
