At the beginning of 2002, a distant relative of Jinxin Liu, who lives in Nanning, returned to his hometown in Pairong Village to find someone to do a land reclamation project in Jingxi County, Guangxi. Jinxin Liu and more than 50 villagers from his hometown came to Jingxi and started a new life journey.
Jingxi is a big county of sericulture industry in Guangxi. Mulberry trees all over the mountains are full of green, which gives birth to the hope that sericulture farmers will increase their income and get rich. Silkworms pick shiny cocoons to the silk reeling factory and change them into colorful banknotes.
Jinxin Liu's hometown Pairong Village, like most villages in Anlong County, is a typical karst landform development area, which is called "global cancer" by environmentalists, and wild mulberry seedlings are growing everywhere. Jinxin Liu, who works in Jingxi, intuitively feels that the sericulture industry in his hometown has great "money" to develop. Whenever he has free time, he goes to the silkworm farm and the silk reeling factory. Before long, Jinxin Liu became acquaintances with some local sericulture farmers and several technicians from a silk reeling factory. At the end of 2003, after the completion of the land reclamation and consolidation project, Jinxin Liu moved to the sericulture base in Luliang County, Yunnan Province, and studied mulberry planting, sericulture technology and management knowledge at his own expense.
Jinxin Liu returned to his hometown in Pairong Village, just in time for the implementation of the policy of returning farmland to forests in the town. Just as the villagers were worried that the subsidy funds for returning farmland to forests were difficult to cash, Jinxin Liu went to the farmers' homes in the village to do ideological mobilization work and reached an agreement with them. Jinxin Liu himself subcontracted farmland and sloping land with a slope of more than 25 degrees, and promised that when the subsidy funds for returning farmland to forests could not be cashed, he would bear it himself. Jinxin Liu signed a contract, contracted 240 acres of sloping land, and prepared to plant mulberry seedlings.
Fortunately, 2004 is the beginning of April in the tree planting season. Two businessmen in Zhejiang shipped 800,000 mulberry seedlings to xinqiao town, Anlong County for sale, but failed to sell 1 plant for several days, and then shipped them to Xinglong Town for sale. Merchants found Yang Nanfa, secretary of the Party Committee of Xinglong Town, and asked for help. Yang Nan found Jinxin Liu, and he was preparing to contact the mulberry seedling base in Jingxi County, Guangxi to buy mulberry seedlings. Businessmen sold 800,000 plants to Jinxin Liu at a price of 5 cents per plant.
After planting 800,000 mulberry seedlings on the 240-mu slope contracted by Jinxin Liu, he cooperated with Guangxi Xinsanglin Sericulture Co., Ltd. nonstop, and carefully purchased the first batch of 5 silkworm eggs (each 15g, about 25,000). ) trial rearing, I didn't expect to raise the first batch of silkworms and sell 205 kilograms of cocoons in 25 days, with an income of 3200 yuan. Jinxin Liu, who tasted the sweetness, raised 20 silkworm eggs in the second and third batches respectively. In that year, he sold 1846 Jin of cocoon and earned 29,536 yuan.
Since 2005, Jinxin Liu has continued to cooperate with Guangxi Xinsanglin Sericulture Co., Ltd., cooperated with Yunnan Luliang Sericulture Co., Ltd. and Guizhou Sericulture Research Institute, and registered "Anlong Anrui Sericulture Co., Ltd." in Anlong County Administration for Industry and Commerce. While planting mulberry and sericulture himself, he also mobilized villagers to participate in planting mulberry and sericulture. Jinxin Liu adopts the operation mode of "company+base+farmers". The company is responsible for contacting mulberry seedlings, providing technical guidance for planting and providing silkworm eggs, and farmers are scattered to plant mulberry and raise silkworm eggs. When the cocoon is listed, the company will send people to buy it at a contract price slightly higher than the local market price, which will drive more villagers to increase their income and get rich.
Because Anlong has suitable altitude, climate, soil and other resources for mulberry growth, mulberry seedlings can enter the rich period three years after planting. The sericulture industry has a favorable opportunity of large demand and excellent price in the international and domestic silk markets. The output value of sericulture per mu is between 4000 yuan and 5000 yuan, which is a good industry with win-win ecological and economic benefits in typical karst landform and rocky desertification areas.
After several years of development, the company operated by Jinxin Liu has now built 1 silkworm egg base, 6 silkworm egg breeding bases and 1 silk garment factory, and the planting area of mulberry garden has reached 1 120 mu. The silk produced by the company has been registered with the trademark of "A Gui", and was awarded as an excellent work award in the colorful Guizhou tourism commodity competition of "Miguo Dong Wine Cup" in Anlong County in 2009. This year, it participated in the 2009 Guiyang Special Agricultural Products Processing Industry Expo in China and the 2009 Guiyang colorful Guizhou tourism commodity competition of "Miguo Dong Wine Cup". In 2008, Anlong Anrui Sericulture Co., Ltd. was awarded the title of "abiding by contracts and valuing credit" by Southwest Guizhou Administration for Industry and Commerce.
This year, the company operated by Jinxin Liu sold more than 20,000 silkworm eggs, more than 20 tons of dried cocoons and 800 beds of silk quilts, achieving a sales income of more than 2 million yuan, and at the same time driving 80 sericulture farmers in six sericulture bases in Xin 'an, Xinglong and Pojiao to increase their income by more than 300,000 yuan.
Jinxin Liu was not satisfied with this success. At present, he is trying to push the silk bedding and other products produced by the company to Wal-Mart supermarkets in coastal cities such as Shenzhen, open up coastal markets, and use profits to feed back the construction of sericulture bases, so as to drive more villagers to increase their income and become rich. He also hopes to get support from many parties to help the villagers of Anlong become stronger and bigger in sericulture industry.
