Today is the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, the traditional begging festival, and also the legendary meeting day. On such a romantic and beautiful day, the construction of Baiyunguan Treasure Garden is about to begin. Please allow me, on behalf of China Airlines Real Estate Co., Ltd., to extend a warm welcome to all of you!
Baiyunguan Treasure Garden Project is not only a project for aerospace to obtain the market development right of Xicheng and even Beijing through the open transaction of government land market, but also an important part of the reconstruction project around Baiyunguan in Xicheng District, Beijing. The development and construction of the project has been highly concerned and strongly supported by the leaders of state organs, Beijing, Xicheng District and China Aerospace Science and Industry Group from beginning to end, and has been enthusiastically helped by authoritative experts in the fields of urban planning, architectural design, cultural relics protection and commercial development, as well as primary land development units, planning and design and commercial development. Here, on behalf of all my colleagues in AVIC Real Estate, I would like to express my sincere thanks to all the leaders and friends who have worked hard and sweated for AVIC and Treasure Garden Project!
The renovation project around Baiyun Temple is one of the 60 practical projects and several key renovation projects deployed by Beijing Municipal Government in 2003. More than 20,000 square meters of demolition has been completed, and more than 700 dangerous buildings and illegal buildings have been demolished, which has greatly improved the regional environment and traffic conditions in Baiyunguan area and created good conditions for urban renewal.
On this basis, Huahang Real Estate will create a commercial and cultural garden with art collection and luxury consumption with reverence in this auspicious and magical place that combines Taoist culture, jade context and blessing civilization. It is not a magnificent commercial building that can be seen everywhere in a bustling city, but a paradise in Yuen Long, which is natural and unique in the central area of the capital. We have reason to believe that with the great efforts of leaders at all levels and friends from all walks of life, Baiyunguan Treasure Garden will be completed as scheduled on the occasion of the 2008 Olympic Games. We sincerely hope that today next year, we can meet you again here, wandering in the garden and tasting the treasures in the palace.
Today, this is the beginning of a new milestone in China Airlines Treasure Park. AVIC will continue to adhere to the aerospace spirit, aerospace tradition and aerospace standards, and work hand in hand with leaders and institutions at all levels in Xicheng District to make Baiyunguan Treasure Garden a model of the perfect combination of Beijing's old city reconstruction, historical and cultural protection and commercial development, so that Baiyunguan area will be presented to the world with a brand-new look, prosperous market and perfect urban functions on the occasion of the 2008 Olympic Games.
