Work:

Speaking of Tibet, in the eyes of most people, it is the "last piece of pure land", with blue sky and clear water, remote and sacred, and of course, "uncivilized" and backward. These views are just Tibet in the eyes of people who have never been to Tibet or know little about Tibet.

For Han workers who have lived and worked in Tibet for many years. Tibet is dedicated love, homesickness, silent tears, real pain and impatience.

Tibet is located in the southwest border of the motherland and the southwest of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is the highest plateau in the world and is known as the "roof of the world". The average altitude in Tibet is more than 4,000 meters, and the living environment in Ali and Naqu areas in Tibet is as high as 5,000 meters. Cold, lack of oxygen, strong radiation, dust, snow and large temperature difference are the remarkable characteristics of Tibet's natural environment and climate.

Most Han workers working in Tibet have to endure altitude sickness such as headache, chest tightness, rapid heartbeat, asthma and dyspnea when entering and leaving Tibet. The common cold in Chinese mainland should be highly valued in Tibet. If not treated in time, it will easily lead to malignant diseases such as high altitude pulmonary edema and even death. However, due to living and working in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau for many years, most people suffer from altitude diseases such as chronic altitude heart disease, altitude hyperlipidemia and altitude polycythemia. Moreover, the intense solar radiation in Tibet has done great harm to people's facial skin, making people's faces black and red, making the Han workers in Tibet several years older than their peers in the mainland. As a result, they also have a special identity card-Gao Yuanhong.

Han workers have worked in Tibet for twenty or thirty years. After retirement, most people do not wander around, but seek medical advice everywhere. How many young lives have been killed by altitude sickness? How many people have retired and left Tibet to enjoy their old age? When I retire and go home, I basically go to the hospital every month, and the monthly medical expenses are nearly two thousand. But because I am in the mainland, I can't enjoy the relevant medical insurance. On the contrary, medical insurance will be deducted, except for hospitalization. At the same time, some people want to go home and enjoy their old age after working for nearly 30 years, but they don't even have a place to live. For example, at present, the housing price is so high, but some cities restrict it from being in the mortgage to buy a house without a local hukou. What a pity! 1

Generally speaking, women of childbearing age who work in Tibet and Han nationality return to the mainland for rest after three months of pregnancy, and the holiday lasts for one year. When children are born about six months, their maternity leave will expire, so they have to send their babies who are still in infancy to their hometown or relatives in the mainland. They returned to work in Tibet. There is still a year or more before the next mother-child reunion. As new parents, Tibetan and Chinese workers can't appreciate the surprise and success brought by "new life". Just the thoughts that worry them are always invading their body and mind. How painful it is! A sense of guilt has been lurking in their hearts. The child's first words were not taught by his parents, nor was he taught to walk for the first time. What's more sad is that due to the long-term separation, when parents step into the house to face their children, the children stare and cry naively: "Uncle and aunt, who are you looking for?"

Among Tibetan and Han workers, they cannot be filial to their parents; I can't teach children, and I can't educate them. I want to ask, who can solve the stigma of "unfilial son" and "childless"? Although the wage level in Tibet ranks third in the country, who can find that they only get this salary? Comparing the prices in Tibet with the medical conditions here, how much is left? How many Tibetan and Han workers are conscientious in their posts, and how many are finally affirmed? Even if you have a two-month holiday once a year, you should avoid sensitive periods. Raise your hand and count the remaining months.

Author: As a Han worker who volunteered to serve Tibet, I personally felt the hardships of working in Tibet. After writing the above paragraphs, my eyes are full of tears. Those "elegies" that happened around me and will happen to me are so pale and powerless when they appeal to the pen. Here, I hope more "moral" people will pay attention to the "other world" of Tibetan Han workers, and the leaders who are willing to build a harmonious socialist society will think about it. First of all, we must harmonize the poor!

I have worked in Tibet for twenty or thirty years, or even longer, but in my heart, Tibet is only the place where I once worked, not my hometown, not my home; I retired and went back to my hometown, thinking that the leaves could finally return to their roots. But when I was in my hometown, I was not familiar with my relatives, no friends and no one knew me. The strangeness of my dear hometown came to me. Who can help me find a sense of belonging?

One day, your family or relatives inadvertently told you that your mother was hospitalized some time ago, but they didn't tell you for fear that your work would be affected. Do you have tears on your face and heartache? It's just that we can't be filial in the world and leave our children to our parents, who should be enjoying their old age at home, but resolutely shoulder the heavy responsibility of helping us raise our children. Every time my mother knows that I'm going back, she happily goes to the supermarket to make a big purchase, then fills the refrigerator, and the rest is waiting for us to go home safely, and then cooks food for us. Every time I go home on holiday, I look at the white hair growing on their temples, the rickety waist and the age spots on the back of their hands. Do you feel guilty that they helped us raise our children? What have you done for your elderly parents? This is not only the contribution of Han comrades working in Tibet, but also the silent and great contribution of the parents of Han comrades working in Tibet. Let's remember the great contribution of parents behind your back.

Writing here, my hands are shaking and my eyes are crying. I really miss home. I want to go home! ! !
