Yantai Salt Industry Group Co., Ltd. is a city-run enterprise group with Yantai SASAC performing the responsibilities of investor. It was reorganized and established on August 3, 2008, and was formerly Yantai Salt Industry Company. Through the operation of salt industry reform, reorganization and integration, the group company structure has been gradually established.
On June 30th, 20 19, four grain system enterprises, including Yantai Liang Jun Supply Station, were officially transferred to the Group for free. On June 30th, 2020, the name of the group was changed from "Yantai Salt Industry Group Co., Ltd." to "Yantai Salt Grain Group Co., Ltd.".
