Through several years of collaborative construction and the implementation of the top-notch talent training mechanism, the center has become the cradle of training first-class reserve scientific and technological talents, and graduate students and postdoctoral students have become vigorous new forces to carry out high-quality scientific research work, playing an increasingly important role in the development of the center. Almost all graduate students have participated in major and key scientific research projects, such as the national major scientific research plan, the "973 Plan", the "863 Plan", the major research plan of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the knowledge innovation project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the strategic pilot scientific and technological project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Most graduate students have achieved innovative research results with strong demonstration during their work in the center, and some graduate students have become key technical experts. Among the SCI papers published by the center in recent years, more than 80% of the first authors are graduate students, and more than 30 graduate students have published papers in the top international academic journals Nature, Science, Nature Sub-issue and Physical Review Express. For example, Dr. Xu Jinshi's graduation thesis "Experimental Study on Preparation, Application and Evolution of Photon Entangled States" and Dr. Gao's graduation thesis "Multi-qubit Entangled States and Their Applications" were selected as "National Excellent Doctoral Dissertations" by the Ministry of Education; As the first author, Dr. Jin Xianmin published a research paper on realizing quantum teleportation in 16 km free space in Nature Photonics, which was selected as "Top Ten Scientific and Technological Progress News of China in 20 10" by academicians of the two academies. Dr Yao Xingcan published the first research paper on eight-photon entanglement and topological quantum error correction in Nature and Nature Photonics. Dr. Yin Juan has been involved in the collaborative innovation with the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in free space quantum communication for a long time, and published the first research paper on realizing quantum teleportation and bidirectional entanglement distribution in the order of 100 km in Nature as the first author. These high-level research work has produced great international influence. The center has successively sent many graduate students and doctoral students to internationally renowned universities and research institutions such as Heidelberg University in Germany, Zurich Institute of Technology in Switzerland, Oxford University in Britain and Innsbruck University in Austria to carry out international cooperation and study exchanges, which will become an important talent reserve for the center in the future.
