The shareholder changed his name. Does business need to change?

Legal analysis: the change of shareholder name requires industrial and commercial change. If the change of shareholder's name represents the change of shareholder or the change of shareholder's name, industrial and commercial registration must be carried out, indicating that the company's equity has been substantially transferred externally, and the internal equity transfer may not necessarily lead to the change of shareholder's name, but the change of shareholder's name will also change the industrial and commercial registration.

Legal basis: Article 34 of the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of Company Registration. Where a limited liability company changes its shareholders, it shall apply for registration of change within 30 days from the date of change, and submit the qualification certificate of the new shareholder or the identity certificate of a natural person.

After the death of a natural person shareholder of a limited liability company, if his legal successor inherits the shareholder qualification, the company shall apply for change of registration in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph.

Where a shareholder of a limited liability company or a promoter of a joint stock limited company changes his name, he shall apply for registration of change within 30 days from the date of changing his name.
