Shanghai International Port (Group) Co., Ltd., referred to as Shanghai Port Group, is a transportation company and the largest port enterprise in Chinese mainland. The company is mainly engaged in the loading and unloading production of port containers, bulk cargo and miscellaneous parts, as well as pilotage, ship towing and tally related to port production.
After the restructuring of Shanghai Port Authority and Shanghai International Port (Group) Co., Ltd., the Group was initiated by Shanghai SASAC and China Merchants Group "China Merchants International" and formally established on June 28, 2005 with the approval of the Ministry of Commerce.

Through structural transformation and scientific research, Shanghai Port Group has completed nine projects in Luo Jing and Waigaoqiao port areas, strengthened the wharf structure of 49 berths, and upgraded the berthing grade of each berth, which is equivalent to1.920m coastline.
