On April 16, 2008, Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Department and Jiangsu Provincial Education Department jointly issued a document in reply, identifying Nanjing University of Technology Science Park as "provincial university science park".
In September 2007, Jiangsu Membrane Engineering Research Center and Nanjing Jiusi High-tech Co., Ltd. were formally incorporated into the sequence of Nanjing University of Technology Science and Technology Industrial Park. This marks the first national "973" project settled in the park.
On June 8, 2007, the groundbreaking ceremony was held in the Science and Technology Industrial Park of Nanjing University of Technology.
